Participants will run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) certified USATF course. This is a Grand Prix 500 point USATF sanctioned event. The toll booths in Weekhawken mark both the start and finish of the race. There is a cone turnaround once participants reach the NYC side of the tunnel.
$25 if registered/postmarked by April 19th.
$23 for USATF if registered/postmarked by April 19th.
$35 registration fee after April 19th and on the day of race. Online Registration closes April 24th at noon.
$5 additional for pasta dinner.
No additional fee for team entries. Teams must register by April 19th whether it is online or via mail. If teams are submitting hard copies of their registration, they must be mailed all together and received by the Special Olympics New Jersey office NO LATER THAN April 19th. First race start - 8:00 a.m. for those who run 25 minutes or under *
Second race start - 8:45 a.m. for runners and walkers over 25 minutes *
* Important note to participants: There is a specific time allotted for each race. If participants do not complete their race in the time allotted, he or she will be escorted by race officials in a vehicle and brought back to the finish line.
Each participant will receive a disposable "D" tag with their race number unless walker requested no "D" tag. Please view this PDF on the proper way to attach your "D" tag. Any walker needing a tag to register an official time for USATF Grand Prix results must select the appropriate registration box.
All registered participants will receive a shirt while supplies last. Sizes are not guaranteed.
Earned incentive items can be picked up at designated tent before or after participant competes.

Level 1 – Participants who raise $125 - $299:

Note: In order to meet a particular incentive level, a participant single handedly needs to raise that money. For example, if there are 3 people in a family and between you, you raise $125, this does not meet Level 1. Person A must pay entry fee plus raise the balance to meet the $125 incentive level. Combined entry fees for all three family members plus balance to meet $125 does not qualify for incentive item. Families CANNOT combine money to meet a particular incentive level.
A team is made up of individual registrations and its respective fees.
Participants can pick up their race items and souvenir shirt on Saturday from 6-9 PM at the Sheraton Harbor Hotel – Weehawken - The official hotel of the Lincoln Tunnel Challenge 5K. Participants can also stay and enjoy a great pasta dinner for a nominal fee. So why not get a room and stay the night too! The hotel has reserved a block of rooms for people interested in staying overnight before the race. Mention you are participating in the event to get the discounted rate.
