Description:	Cross-country is one of the most popular winter sports. Extensive dry-land training programs have enabled the athletes to properly train for competition. Cross-country skiing competition can challenge the fast skier with the shorter races and the endurance skier with the longer races.
Rules	United States Skiing Association (USSA) and the Special Olympics Sports Rules govern this competition.
