Volunteer Registration
All volunteers must register and be authorized by Special Olympics New Jersey. This policy is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of Special Olympics athletes and volunteers at every level of the organization.
Anyone who wishes to volunteer must complete the Class B Volunteer Registration Form which can be submitted online by clicking here. Once registered, volunteers can sign up for an event by completing a separate seasonal Volunteer Application, which lists all volunteer opportunities for a particular season.
The latest seasonal application is posted on our website at the beginning of each season. You can download the application found either on our home page or in the Locker Room section. Please fax or mail the seasonal application to our office.
Once we have received your application you will be sent an assignment confirmation via email with directions and additional detailed information about the event you have signed up for. The confirmation will be sent approximately two weeks prior to the event.
Be sure to read the volunteer code of conduct and the volunteer agreement before you register to be a Special Olympics New Jersey volunteer. You can obtain a registration form via mail or by calling (609)896-8000, or you can fill out a volunteer registration form online.
Positions are assigned on a first come first serve basis.
