2020 would’ve been the 24th year of the Plane Pull to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey. We’re heartbroken that we can’t all line up at the rope, as always, on the tarmac of Newark Airport.
But you don’t need to move a 93,000-pound plane to show our athletes that you’re still PULLING for them. Your donation of any dollar amount – no matter what size – helps to get the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey athletes back on the playing field.
Donate $75 or more and we’ll send you a 2020 Pulling Together t-shirt to say THANK YOU! These PLANE awesome t-shirts are available exclusively to past Plane Pull participants and donors. And only until October 31.
Honorary Team Captain
You may recognize Jake and his dad, Todd. They’ve been on the tarmac, cheering you on, every year since Jake was 4 years old.
Fast forward 11 years, Jake’s a high school sophomore (on the honor roll), a varsity swimmer, a junior fire fighter…and an accomplished, multi-sport Special Olympics New Jersey athlete.
Jake’s been participating with Special Olympics for most of his life, starting as a Young Athlete. Jake currently competes in swimming, golf and snow-shoeing. And he’s won countless medals along the way…most of them Gold.
