Taking the Course

Coaches may take the course in person or online. It is recommended to take the course in person but coaches may choose which option suits them best.

In Person

Visit the Events page and filter by Training to see if there are upcoming in person course trainings in your area.

Special Olympics New Jersey provides the in person course to coaches free of charge and encourages coaches to participate in this option for the benefit of discussion and learning from instructors and fellow coaches.

Online

Follow the steps on the course instructions to access. Please note there is a $35 payment for the course.

The online course is self-guided and may be completed over multiple sittings. Please note there is a deadline to complete the course based on your enrollment date. Coaches pay for the online option themselves.
