The 2025 edition of the New York Jets Flag Unified League began in April with clinics at the NY Jets training facility in Florham Park. Over two sessions, twelve high school teams were coached through drills and skills, and learned about the importance of teamwork.
After five weeks of league play, the 4 top teams (Bloomfield, Morristown, Voorhees, and West Morris Central) met again at the training facility for semifinals and the championship game. Not only did the NY Jets host the tournament, several NY Jets players were also on hand as honorary coaches.
Families and friends made their presence felt with applause and cheers. The games were highly contested, and some went into overtime. Only one team can lift the trophy, and this year it was …drumroll please… Bloomfield!
