SONJ Winter Competition

Athletes who participate in winter sports begin practicing in December and compete at local and sectional levels until February with the goal of advancing to our annual state Winter Games.

2024 Winter Games

The 2024 Winter Games for floor hockey and volleyball took place on January 6-7, 2024.  Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and speed skating will take place on February 5-6, 2024 and figure skating is February 11, 2024.

Our guiding principle is to consider the health and safety of all members of the Special Olympics New Jersey community. If any athlete, coach, volunteer, or spectator is not feeling well for ANY reason, please stay home.
