MedFest at Fall Games

If you are in need of a new or updated medical, Special Olympics New Jersey will be hosting free physical examinations for all registered athletes on Saturday, October 19, 2024 as part of Fall Games.

Please note: After much research, discussion, and in collaboration between Special Olympics Inc. (SOI) Special Olympics North America (SONA) along with Special Olympics programs, SOI has made the decision to remove the requirement of the athlete physical exam and physician’s signature for participation in Special Olympics.  This would eliminate the necessity for a doctor to sign off and complete the current athlete participation packet. This removal of the physician’s signature requirement allows for easier access to Special Olympics New Jersey programming.

For new athletes or athletes with expired or expiring medicals through 2024 the baseline requirement is completing the current participation packet minus the doctor’s signature page (physical exam pages).

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Before arriving, you must complete the following forms:

1. Online medical form through Adobe Sign.
   Once completed through Adobe Sign, you do not need to bring any paperwork with you. To find out your area please click HERE. Please follow these step by step instructions for completing the medical forms HERE. 
2. Communicable Diseases Waiver
   Required once per participant.

We’re looking for volunteers for this event!  Volunteers must be 14 years or older to sign up (unless otherwise stated). Volunteer positions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
