SONJ Winter Competition

Athletes who participate in winter sports begin practicing in December and compete at local and regional levels until February with the goal of advancing to our annual state Winter Games.

2025 Winter Games

The 2025 Winter Games for floor hockey and volleyball took place on January 11-12, 2025.  Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and speed skating took place on February 3-4, 2025 and figure skating will be February 9, 2025.

Our guiding principle is to consider the health and safety of all members of the Special Olympics New Jersey community. If any athlete, coach, volunteer, or spectator is not feeling well for ANY reason, please stay home.
