September 2021 Report- Year 14

Monthly reports are due for each month from September to June, with a Midterm report due in January and a Final Report in June. 
The Midterm and Final reports take the place of the monthly reports for that year. The participation numbers included in the Midterm and Final reports should be for the total number of students that have participated for the time period in each category.

When reporting numbers for Physical Education please keep in mind that we do not want the total number of students in the school for students without disabilities even if your school has fully included PE. Estimate the number of students without disabilities that interact meaningfully within the total class as your reporting number.

 There will be a hold put on grant funds if monthly reports are not kept up to date.

  • Athletes and partners are of similar age and ability

Inclusive Young Athletes
Physical Education (P.E.)
  • Adaptive P.E. - a non-inclusive class that covers the same concepts, skills and content as the general physical education program. However, it applies differentiated instruction, teaching strategies, equipment and assessments specially designed to meet the needs of students with different abilities
  • Learn. Practice. Play. UNIFIED. Inclusive P.E. - where all students have access to a fun, positive and meaningful experience. Introduce an equitable peer partner strategy, where all students participate as teammates and leaders
  • Unified P.E. - a for credit opportunity for students of varying ability levels to learn together, through fitness, sports, leadership and wellness activities. It is a meaningful alternative to recruiting student volunteers to help in an adaptive P.E. class, or to incorporating students with disabilities into regular P.E. classes, where they are confronted with large class sizes and a challenging learning environment.
