On Friday, October 9, 2020, more than 3,000 officers took to the streets of their local communities on one of 26 separate routes to help carry the “Flame of Hope” a distance of nearly 750 miles throughout the Garden state to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New Jersey.
This year has been full of challenges, but thanks to the support of the law enforcement and donors, we have provided virtual opportunities for our athletes to connect and stay in shape. The amazing fundraising will greatly enhance these offerings as our athletes begin to return to the playing field.
