The 23rd Annual Perlman Cup welcomed 93 golfers of all different levels and abilities to Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, NJ on October 15, 2020.
We know things looked a bit different this year, so thank you for sticking with us and making this another memorable day of golf! Thanks to your efforts, we raised over $30,000!
Participation in The Perlman Cup not only honored Bessie Perlman’s commitment to individuals with intellectual disabilities, but also helps Special Olympics New Jersey provide training and competition opportunities, health, wellness, athlete leadership and Unified program initiatives to over 26,000 athletes across the state – all completely free of charge!
Designed to accommodate both beginner and experienced golfers, registrants could either play in the 18-hole scramble tournament or the beginner’s golf clinic, where they received instruction from a New Jersey Professional Golf Association (NJPGA) Pro.
While on the course, women were encouraged to participate in contests where they could win some amazing prizes, including a brand new BMW X3 thanks to Flemington BMW!
The Perlman Cup took part in the Celebrating Our Champions Online Auction. Participants of the event enjoyed bidding on items such as concert tickets, gift baskets and golf foursomes at some of NJ’s top courses.
