Since 2016, Special Olympics New Jersey has held Unified Track & Field Championship meets in partnership with the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).
This year’s competition was hosted by Franklin High School in Somerset, NJ and featured 15 schools from all over the state. Not only was this the highest number of schools ever, but also twice as many as last year. Participation is expected to grow for the foreseeable future.
