17 teams, consisting of 115 pullers, registered for the 2nd Annual Fire Truck Pull on April 27 at the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company. To make it more challenging, the truck’s weight was increased from 30,000 lbs last year to 35,000 lbs, and the pulling distance was lengthened from 12ft to 20ft.

The participants didn’t pull the truck just once, but twice: First for fastest pull over the full distance, and then again with the lowest combined weight to pull within a time limit of 2 minutes.

Special thanks to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, Ewing Twp PD, and the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company for supporting the event. And to Lawrence Twp Fire Company for supplying the Fire Truck.

Thank you to all teams, donors, and volunteers for making the inaugural Fire Truck Pull a success!

Tons of strength were on display, obviously, but the teams didn’t forget to have lots of fun.
