Over 1,000 plungers took to the chilly Atlantic Ocean on January 11th for the annual Polar Bear Plunge in Wildwood, NJ.

The start to the 2020 plunge season brought in over $330,000 to support Special Olympics New Jersey athletes around the state. The top fundraising teams lead the way, including AlohAvengers who lead from the very beginning of registration!

Not only did plungers raise incredible amounts of money, but they also refused to let the frigid water and windy skies dampen their spirits and costumes! Outfits ranged from Jelly Fish, Vikings, 80’s-themed, Where’s Waldo, Batman Villains, and USA-themed!
