The 128th edition of the Penn Relays took place at University of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Field from Thursday through Saturday, April 25-27, and featured 18 athletes from Special Olympics New Jersey.

Runners from all over the state showcased their talents among hundreds of other high school and college athletes. They were joined by competitors from several other Special Olympics programs, as well as Special Olympics Cayman Islands, for a total of 90 athletes and Unified Partners. They competed in four events: the traditional and Unified 4x100m relay, the men’s 100m dash, and the women’s 100m dash.

Overall, Special Olympics New Jersey athletes competed hard and had an amazing day.
