Over 3,000 people gathered in Asbury Park on Saturday, 4/21 for the annual RunAPalooza.
Competing in either the Jersey Shore relay marathon, Asbury Park half-marathon, or Jersey Shore 5K, folks of all running backgrounds descended upon the shore town for a day of running in the sun.
Among all the runners, Governor Phil Murphy could be seen running the 5K. He finished in under 30 minutes.

Jersey Shore Running Club has been hosting RunAPalooza for the past 21 years. Benefits from this event go towards Special Olympics New Jersey and the Jersey Shore Dream Center.
After competing, participants got to eat a hearty meal, receive awards, and mingle inside the Asbury Park Convention Hall.
