On Sunday, December 4, 2022, we welcomed Jingle All the Way 3K participants to the SONJ Sports Complex. The event consisted of a 1K Jingle Jog, 3K Timed Competitive Run and 3K Fun Run. The Jingle Jog was kicked off by SONJ athlete, Tyff, then the 3K events were started by Lawrenceville Mayor John Ryan, accompanied by lots of cow bell! Runners were led off by elves and welcomed back by holiday onesie clad volunteers with medals and jolly Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Participants embraced this year’s theme, UNDER THE SEA, by wearing ocean themed attire and even some dressed in snorkel gear as they ran, walked, strolled, and rolled! There was even a rare sighting of a rolling mermaid! Volunteers lined the course with themed signs, pom-poms and jingle bells to cheer on the runners.

Post-race, attendees enjoyed food from Antimo’s Italian Kitchen, donuts and cider from Terhune Orchards, Little Bites generously donated by BIMBO Bakeries and hot cocoa with hot water donated by A Clear Alternative, while listening to the musical stylings of SONJ athlete, DJ Redline.
