2021 was anything but ordinary given the ongoing global pandemic, however, Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) saw some bright light as athletes were able to return to activities. Many athletes participated in modified Summer Sports Finals and Fall Games, while members of Team New Jersey were selected to represent fellow athletes at the 2022 USA Games in Orlando in June. It was a year where the SONJ community determined that the comeback will be stronger than the setback!
