Summer Games

Camp Shriver

Each summer Special Olympics New Jersey conducts Camp Shriver, a fun sports camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities. While the goal is to have fun, athletes also work on enhancing their proficiency and skills in a variety of sports. More information »

Statue of Liberty 5K

One More Tri

Test your endurance at One More Tri, a USA Triathlon-sanctioned triathlon/duathlon/aquavelo in Asbury Park. Choose from the traditional sprint triathlon or the short sprint triathlon. Both events include ocean swim, bike and running components. Participants can sign up as individuals or part of a relay team. More about One More Tri »

Sports Complex

The Special Olympics New Jersey Sports Complex is a one-of-kind facility, affording individuals with intellectual disabilities, their families and the community a place to come together to increase the quality and expand the reach of Special Olympics throughout the state. Over 200 local middle and high school students attended a football camp hosted by Rutgers coach Kyle Flood. The campers came from five school districts that participate in the Special Olympics New Jersey Play Unified School Partnership Program, which brings together students with and without disabilities. This past Sunday, the first-ever High School Shriver Cup Interscholastic Unified Bowling Tournament was held. Nine teams of students with and without disabilities from West Windsor-Plainsboro, Clifton, Raritan/Hazlet, Montgomery and Washington Township schools competed for the Shriver Cup. This was the culminating tournament for Special Olympics New Jersey's Play Unified Interscholastic Bowling League, in which over 350 students from 15 schools participated. More »
