During our spring season, Hudson County offers one Olympic-style sport that provides meaningful training and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Athletes who participate in spring sports begin practicing in February and compete through April.

If you see a sport you’re interested in but haven’t registered as an athlete, learn how to become an athlete. Athletes that are already registered should contact the local area director to learn about playing a specific sport.

Special Olympics athletes that want to train and compete in bowling can do so as a single competitor or on a team. Visit our Bowling page to learn more about participating and general guidelines and to find athlete and coaching resources.
